I use SAP BusinessObjects GRC in my company to take care of the area revolving around reporting. The tool helps create reports for projects, including the creation of any ad-hoc reports. With the tool, our company can get access to any data sources from where we can get data, which allows us to use more functionalities.
There isn't anything in particular that my company doesn't like about the product. It is an old system that is currently being used by its users, which works in areas like prompts and reports. I think the old system is better than the new one. From an improvement perspective, the tool needs to ensure that the new technologies it offers are better than the old ones.
I have been using SAP BusinessObjects GRC since 2016, meaning I have around ten years of experience with the product. I use the solution's latest version. I have experience with SAP BusinessObjects BI 4.3.

The product's licensing costs involve a one-time purchase. The tool also allows others to make annual payments towards the licensing charges of the product. From a price perspective, I consider the tool to be a profitable solution for my company. For the concurrent users in the public, the tool is very expensive.
My company is in touch with the vendor who takes care of the maintenance phase of the solution.
I cannot recommend the product to other organizations. Other organizations can choose from the many technologies available in the market.
There are a lot of technologies and tools that are available in the market. As I haven't used SAP Analytics Cloud, I can't give a good rating for SAP BusinessObjects GRC, which is an old tool.
